Extract Multipart rar Files in Linux
Open up a terminal and browse to the directory where the multipart rar files are and type
You could also just right-click the first part of the files and select "Extract here" which should automatically recognize that there are multiple parts. It has worked for me. Of course you have to have unrar installed first either by the Software Center or the terminal command "sudo apt-get install unrar."
Didn't work for me!
